Basketball League — Terms of Service

Agreement and eligibility

These Terms are a contract between you and Northern Digital Systems LLC ("we" or "us"), 4077 Liberty Ave, Ogden, UT 84403, for the Basketball League mobile game (the "Game"). By tapping "I Agree" or using the Game, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Game. If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or guardian has given you permission to play and to make purchases, and that they accept these Terms for you. If you do not meet these requirements, do not use the Game.

Your account

You may play as a guest or create an account with an email address or Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity on your account.

Give us accurate information, keep one account per person, and do not share, sell, or transfer your account. Guest accounts that stay inactive for 360 days may be deleted, unless the account has bought coins. You can delete your account at any time in Settings, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Virtual coins and purchases

You can buy virtual coins with real money through Google Play. Coins and items are a limited license to use features inside the Game. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be sold or transferred outside the Game.

All coin purchases are final. We do not offer refunds for coins or other virtual items, including if we suspend, ban, or close your account for any reason, or if we change or end the Game. Coins are added to your account after our server verifies the purchase with Google. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund right that the law gives you or that Google Play provides under its own policies, which we do not control.

We may change prices, coin amounts, or what coins can buy. If we shut down the Game, unused coins have no refund value except where the law requires one. [Attorney to confirm this clause and any minor-purchase refund handling.]

Rewarded ads

You may choose to watch an ad in exchange for an in-game reward. A cooldown of 10 minutes applies between rewarded ads, and our server decides whether a reward is due.

Do not use bots, scripts, modified apps, or any other means to trigger ads, skip the cooldown, or claim rewards you did not earn. We may remove rewards obtained that way.

Fair play and enforcement

The Game's results are decided by our server. We verify gameplay submitted from your device, and we may reject any result that fails verification.

You may not cheat, exploit bugs, tamper with or reverse engineer the app, extract server keys, use unofficial clients, automate play, or interfere with our servers or other players' experience.

If we find or reasonably suspect a violation, we may remove progress, coins, or items gained unfairly, rate-limit you, suspend your account, or ban you permanently, with or without notice. If we ban an account for cheating, coins and items on it are forfeited. We may also report illegal activity to the authorities.

Security and unauthorized access

Do not hack, probe, overload, scrape, or otherwise attack or disrupt our servers, networks, or the Game, and do not access accounts or data that are not yours. We may report this activity to law enforcement and pursue legal remedies against you, including damages and our reasonable costs and attorney fees to the extent the law allows.

Conduct

Choose a username that is not unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or misleading, and do not impersonate others. Do not use the Game to harass other players, spam, or advertise.

We may change or remove usernames and restrict or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Our content and your license

The Game, including its code, art, sounds, text, and design, is owned by Northern Digital Systems LLC or its licensors and is protected by law. All rights are reserved. You may not copy, modify, distribute, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the Game or any part of it, or access our servers or data except through the Game as we release it. We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and play the Game for your own non-commercial use.

By choosing a username, you give us a license to display it within the Game as needed to run the service. [Attorney: add a notice and a rights statement here if licensed player names or images are ever used. Basketball League is not affiliated with or endorsed by any professional league or team.]

Disclaimers and liability

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your progress will never be lost. Servers can fail, and we may change or end features at any time.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost progress, coins, or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Disputes and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in [Weber County, Utah], and you and we consent to those courts. Before filing, please email [email protected] so we can try to resolve it. Nothing in this section stops us from seeking an injunction or other urgent relief, or from bringing a claim in any court, over hacking, attacks on our servers, or misuse of the Game's code or other intellectual property. Changes, termination, and contact

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will update the version and ask you to accept it again in the Game; continuing to play after you accept means you agree to the new Terms.

You may stop using the Game and delete your account at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate any account, or end your access to the Game, at any time and for any reason or no reason, with or without notice. Reasons include cheating, abusing or attacking our infrastructure, breaking these Terms or the law, or protecting the Game or other players. If that happens, you lose access to the account and to any progress, coins, or items on it, and we will not refund any purchase. Sections on purchases, ownership, security, disclaimers, liability, and disputes survive termination.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Game or any feature of it at any time and for any reason, including a business decision to end live service. We will try to give notice in the Game or by email before a full shutdown, but we are not required to. If we end the Game, we are not liable to you for lost progress, coins, or items, and no purchases will be refunded, as described in the purchases section.
