Northern Digital Systems

Software that works for you.

I build custom websites, business tools, AI systems, and games — from a single landing page to software that talks directly to hardware. Everything is designed, built, and delivered under one roof, so there is one point of contact from first conversation to launch.

Built in production, not just in demos

I'm the founder of Northern Digital Systems. Before I was writing software for businesses, I spent years designing and repairing industrial systems for automation machinery — specializing in electrical and software design, retrofitting old manufacturing equipment with modern CNC systems, and restoring old precision equipment. I've also diagnosed several real-world systems hands-on — engines, electrical, drivetrain, hydraulics — each with its own characteristics.

That background shapes how I work. I care about the unglamorous parts: what happens when something fails, how the software behaves under load, and whether the person using it actually enjoys the experience. The goal is a streamlined, seamless experience from start to finish — and software you can rely on long after the project is done.

It also means I understand the actual implications of a design decision from both theory and practice — not only how it looks on a diagram, but how it behaves on equipment that has to keep running.

What I build

Four departments, one standard of work.

Capabilities

  • Custom websites. Sites and web apps designed around your business, not a template.
  • Custom business tools. Software built for how your team already works.
  • Custom AI tools. Strategic AI implementations chosen for the problem — and for what they cost to run.
  • Software-to-hardware integration. Connecting software to devices, sensors, point-of-sale systems, and equipment.
  • Reverse engineering. Understanding existing systems and protocols so new software can work with them.
Reliable, resourceful, and dependable software that works for you.

Let's talk about your project

Tell me what you're trying to build, or what's currently getting in the way. I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right fit and what it would take.
