Custom AI Tools

You wouldn't use a hammer to tighten a bolt. Let our experience put custom AI systems to work for you — the right tool for the job, not the biggest one within reach.

AI is not one product. It is a category of tools — and reaching for the biggest one on every job is exactly how AI projects end up expensive and useless at the same time.

The right tool, not the loudest one

A hammer is a perfectly good tool. It is simply the wrong one for a bolt. Most AI work fails the same way: a general model is bolted onto a problem it was never suited to, given no context about your business, and asked to do something a much smaller, better-aimed system would do faster, cheaper, and more accurately.

Unlike our competition, we don't implement a quick and expensive system. Our experience lets us build strategic implementations of AI for optimized effectiveness and cost.

That means starting with the job itself — what actually needs to happen, what "good" looks like, and what a person would need to trust the result — and then choosing the smallest approach that reliably gets there. Sometimes that is a large model. Often it is retrieval, rules, and a well-placed classifier. The decision is made on your problem, not on a sales sheet.

What I build

  • Operational intelligence. Systems that pull together the streams your team already drowns in and turn them into something short enough to actually read.
  • Automated code maintenance. Systems that update code and fix bugs automatically, with review kept where it belongs.
  • Advanced personal assistants. Assistants that read and write email, ping your phone, schedule your calendar, and handle everyday logistics.
  • Simulation and game AI. Advanced NPC engines for game development — behaviour that holds up over long play sessions.
  • Computer vision. Image detection systems for automation and industrial robots.

Selected projects

A sample of the systems I have built and put into service.

Service & ticket intelligence

A system that monitors service tickets, complaints, bugs, and email, then summarizes all of it into one concise view for user review — so a person reads a single digest instead of working through five inboxes.

Automated code updating & bug fixing

Systems that keep code current and resolve bugs automatically, cutting the maintenance load that quietly consumes development time.

Advanced personal assistants

Assistants that read and write email, send pings to your phone, schedule your calendar, handle meal prep and shopping, and power custom meal-planning apps.

Advanced NPC engines

Behaviour engines for game development — NPCs that react, remember, and stay coherent across a long session rather than looping a script.

Image detection for automation

Detection systems built for industrial automation and robots, where the answer has to be right in a moving, imperfect, real-world environment.

A good fit if…

  • You have been quoted for AI and the price does not match the value.
  • Your team is buried in tickets, email, or reports that should summarize themselves.
  • You need vision or behaviour systems that work in the real world, not in a demo.
  • You want a straight answer about whether AI is even the right tool here — including when it isn't.
Reliable, resourceful, and dependable software that works for you.
